    Mineral Mix

More Than Calcium. A More Complete Approach to Bone Health. Calcium + Magnesium • Vitamin K2 MK-7 • Boron • Silica • 10+ Essential Minerals • Just 2 Capsules Daily

Strong bones aren’t built from calcium alone. Bone is living tissue, constantly being broken down and rebuilt, and that process depends on a surprisingly broad range of nutrients. That’s why we created Mineral Mix. Instead of giving you a large dose of one or two minerals, Mineral Mix combines calcium and magnesium with vitamin K2, boron, silica, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, iodine and other trace minerals in one comprehensive daily formula.

The idea is simple: Don’t just give your bones more calcium. Give your body the broader nutritional building blocks involved in maintaining them.

    Each two-capsule serving provides:

    • 200 mg Calcium
    • 200 mg Magnesium
    • 120 mcg Vitamin K2 as MK-7
    • 15 mg Zinc
    • 5 mg Manganese
    • 2 mg Boron
    • 1 mg Copper
    • 100 mcg Selenium
    • 100 mcg Iodine
    • 200 mcg Chromium GTF
    • 30 mcg Molybdenum
    • Potassium
    • 15 mg Bamboo Silica

It does it in just two capsules per day. Bone Is More Complicated Than Calcium. For decades, bone supplements were basically calcium supplements. We now know the picture is more complicated. Calcium is certainly important. It’s the most abundant mineral in the body, and most of it is stored in bones and teeth. Calcium doesn’t work alone. Magnesium participates in bone structure and mineral metabolism. Vitamin K is required to activate proteins involved in normal bone mineralization. Zinc, copper and manganese participate in enzymes and processes involved in connective tissue and skeletal health. Emerging research continues to investigate the roles of boron and silicon in bone metabolism. That’s why Mineral Mix isn’t built around a megadose of calcium, it’s built around the mineral team.

    A Balanced 1:1 Calcium-to-Magnesium Formula

    Each daily serving provides:

    200 mg Calcium + 200 mg Magnesium

We deliberately chose a balanced approach rather than making calcium dominate the formula. Calcium is essential for normal bones and teeth, while magnesium is involved in hundreds of enzymatic reactions and contributes to normal muscle and bone function. Diet matters here too. Some people already obtain substantial calcium from dairy foods, fortified beverages and other foods but may consume less magnesium-rich foods such as nuts, seeds, legumes and leafy greens. Mineral Mix is designed to fill nutritional gaps with a broader range of minerals rather than simply adding a large amount of calcium.

Vitamin K2 — 120 mcg of MK-7-  This is one of the formula’s most important differences from an ordinary calcium-magnesium supplement. Mineral Mix provides 120 mcg of vitamin K2 as MK-7. Vitamin K is required to activate osteocalcin, a protein produced by bone-forming cells that participates in normal bone mineralization. MK-7 also has a relatively long half-life compared with some other forms of vitamin K, making it particularly well suited to daily supplementation. Human research on vitamin K2 and bone health is encouraging. Meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials have reported improvements in certain measures of bone mineral density and vitamin K-dependent osteocalcin.

Boron — A Small Mineral With Interesting Science- Boron is present in tiny amounts compared with calcium and magnesium. But small doesn’t necessarily mean unimportant. Boron has attracted scientific interest because of its possible involvement in calcium, magnesium and vitamin D metabolism and bone maintenance. Human research is still limited, so there isn’t an established recommended daily intake for boron. But reviews of the evidence suggest that boron is biologically active at nutritional amounts and may play a supporting role in bone health. Mineral Mix provides 2 mg of boron per daily serving.

It’s another example of the philosophy behind the formula:

Bone nutrition is about more than one mineral.

Silica — Looking Beyond the Mineral Part of Bone Bone isn’t simply a block of calcium. Underneath its mineral content is an organic framework composed largely of collagen. Silicon has attracted scientific interest because of its possible involvement in collagen formation and the early stages of bone mineralization. Mineral Mix provides 15 mg of silica from bamboo extract. But its connection to collagen and connective-tissue biology makes it a logical addition to a comprehensive bone-support formula.

Zinc, Copper & Manganese — The Supporting Players Matter These minerals don’t usually get their names on the front of a bone supplement. They still matter. Zinc is required for numerous enzymes and participates in normal protein synthesis and tissue repair.

Copper- contributes to normal connective-tissue formation and is involved in enzymes required for collagen structure.

Manganese- is a cofactor for enzymes involved in connective tissue and bone formation.

Mineral Mix provides all three. And importantly, it provides zinc and copper together rather than loading the formula with zinc while ignoring its relationship with copper. That’s what a thoughtfully balanced multi-mineral should do.

Quality Mineral Forms Matter- The number of minerals on a label isn’t the whole story. The forms matter too. We use premium mineral forms where they make sense because a good mineral formula should consider more than simply how cheaply an ingredient can be added to a capsule.

Why Selenium- Selenium is an essential trace mineral required for the normal function of several selenium-dependent proteins. These proteins participate in antioxidant defence, thyroid hormone metabolism and other important biological processes. Mineral Mix provides 100 mcg of selenium , a standardized selenium-enriched yeast ingredient that has been extensively characterized and studied.

Iodine + Selenium: Important Thyroid Nutrients Mineral Mix also provides 100 mcg iodine. Iodine is required to produce thyroid hormones. Selenium is involved in enzymes that help metabolize those hormones. That doesn’t make Mineral Mix a thyroid treatment. It simply means the formula supplies two essential trace minerals with established roles in normal thyroid physiology. That’s the difference between good nutritional science and exaggerated health claims.

Chromium — 200 mcg Mineral Mix provides 200 mcg of chromium GTF Chromium is a trace mineral involved in normal macronutrient metabolism and insulin action.

Why Not Add Iron? Mineral Mix deliberately does not contain iron. Iron is essential—but it’s also a nutrient where more isn’t automatically better. Requirements vary considerably depending on age, sex, diet and health status. Someone who needs additional iron may require a very different amount than someone who doesn’t. Leaving iron out allows Mineral Mix to function as a broad everyday mineral formula without automatically giving every customer supplemental iron. If you’ve been diagnosed with iron deficiency, use an appropriate iron product under the guidance of your healthcare professional.

Calcium and magnesium have established physiological roles in maintaining normal bones. Vitamin K is required for normal activation of osteocalcin. Zinc, copper and manganese participate in processes relevant to skeletal and connective-tissue health. Boron and silicon are emerging areas of nutritional research.

That’s what makes Mineral Mix different.

It doesn’t bet everything on one nutrient.

It takes a broader approach to the nutritional foundation bones depend on. One Formula Instead of a Cupboard Full of Minerals. Mineral Mix puts them together in one coordinated formula requiring just two capsules per day.

That’s simpler. When you’re taking something every day, simplicity has real value.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Why not just take calcium? Because bone health involves considerably more than calcium. Calcium is essential, but magnesium, vitamin K and numerous trace minerals also participate in normal skeletal physiology. Mineral Mix was designed around that broader nutritional picture.

Why does Mineral Mix contain equal amounts of calcium and magnesium? We wanted a balanced mineral formula rather than a high-calcium product. Both minerals have important physiological roles, and dietary intake varies considerably from person to person. Mineral Mix provides 200 mg of each per daily serving.

Why is vitamin K2 included? Vitamin K is required to activate proteins such as osteocalcin that participate in normal bone mineralization. Mineral Mix provides 120 mcg of K2 as MK-7.

Does Mineral Mix treat osteoporosis? No. Osteoporosis is a medical condition that should be appropriately assessed and treated. Mineral Mix provides nutrients relevant to maintaining normal bone health, but it shouldn’t replace osteoporosis medication or medical care when those are indicated.

Why does Mineral Mix contain boron? Boron is a trace element being studied for its relationships with bone metabolism and nutrients including calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. The research is promising but still developing. Mineral Mix provides 2 mg per daily serving.

Why doesn’t Mineral Mix contain iron? Iron needs vary substantially between individuals. Leaving iron out makes Mineral Mix suitable as a general multi-mineral formula without automatically giving supplemental iron to people who don’t require it.

Can I take Mineral Mix with warfarin? Mineral Mix contains vitamin K2. If you take warfarin or another vitamin K-antagonist medication, speak with your healthcare professional before using Mineral Mix.

How should I take Mineral Mix? Take two capsules daily with food, according to the current product directions. Because minerals can interfere with the absorption of certain medications, follow the label recommendation to take Mineral Mix a few hours before or after other medications when applicable.

    The Bottom Line

Mineral Mix isn’t another calcium supplement. It’s a comprehensive mineral formula built around the reality that healthy bones and normal body function depend on many nutrients working together.

Calcium + magnesium. K2 + boron + silica. Zinc + copper + manganese. Iodine + selenium + chromium and other trace minerals. All in just two capsules a day.
